Your midwives in Monmouth County, NJ, are trained to provide care for the mom and baby during pregnancy and after birth. During birth, your baby will be monitored by using a handheld Doppler. A Doppler is an ultrasound that helps you listen to the baby’s heart beath through the mother’s abdomen. It’s an amazing medical tool that can be used underwater and in any position.
